Just something to ponder about...

We should all be very thankful.. and grateful..

That characters like Batman, Joker, Scarecrow, any fictional character out there with mental problems and/or a short fuse (no pun intended for Joker hurr)...

Are MALE characters.

And not female characters.

that would be very, very bad.. just because of a certain

Just think about it..

Joker, having such a hormone imbalance..

Sure, it'd be funny at first.. but then you'd realize..

"Oh shit.. he's not trying to do a social experiment.. he's just.. KILLING AND KILLING AND OH GOD, OH SWEET LORD, WHERE IS BATMAN?!!!

And then there'd be a "MEANWHILE" and Bruce Wayne's bedroom would pop up and there'd be a big curled up lump in the bed, groaning.

Bruce would be like "Screw it, he can wait a few goddamn days. I am NOT getting out of bed."

But he'd be wrong and everyone would die. ;_;

And that's why some the world's most craziest and powerful and deadliest characters are male.

ps. - My journals aren't usually very SRS BUSINESS at all. And I'm basically making fun of myself because I DO have bad PMS and I'm not afraid to admit that. In fact, I make fun of it. It makes me feel better. And thinking of Batman aka Bruce Wayne curled up with severe cramps and Joker out killing because he's actually feeling like crap for once makes me LULZ. Guess that's just me..*shrug*

Female hormones in characters like Joker just don't sound very delightful.

That's like saying a woman is only as good/smart/whatever as her hormones allow her to be, which is untrue. I agree, there are cases where hormones take complete control over someone's behavior, but these cases are pathological. It's not like having hormonal swings and sometimes being subject to them are the most prominent things about females.

And I don't think a woman who suffers severe PMS would even want to become something like the Joker, but that's another story.

And that's why the world's most craziest and powerful and deadliest characters are male.

I can think of a few different reasons, like how we live in a male-centric world and so on, and on. Plus, most comic authors are men who would rather see their female characters simply sexy and subservient to their male characters. That is all.
